Join a fledgling bookkeeping and financial services firm that works with nonprofits, small local businesses and social justice organizations in Kingston and beyond. Gain valuable financial management skills and meet dozens of radical clients, all on a flexible schedule.

Part-time bookkeeping and administrative assistance (8-12 hours/week starting with possibility of up to 30 hours in 2016). Duties include closely supervised basic bookkeeping for multiple clients including A/P, A/R, data entry, credit card and bank reconciliations and end of year tax forms. Work will be based out of Keeping Up’s office in Kingston; potential to work remotely or at clients’ offices in the future.

Strong internal and external communications skills, basic bookkeeping knowledge or desire and skills to learn fast, attention to detail, integrity throughout all aspects of workflow, and personal computer to work on. Quickbooks expertise and levity are appreciated. Paid training possible. Probationary period applies. Pay commensurate with experience.
