Sarah Snider founded Keeping Up as a way to interact with and support the local economies of the Hudson Valley. She has lived in Tivoli, Woodstock, and now Kingston. Prior to launching Keeping Up, she spent time developing a worker-owned financial services company based in Brooklyn, and she has experience with many types of client. Sarah holds a BA in History & Social Sciences from the American University of Paris, a magistère in French Literature from the Sorbonne, and an MS in Culture and Society from the London School of Economics & Political Science. She has been mentored by many bookkeepers and has formal education in financial accounting from Baruch School of Continuing & Professional Studies. Outside of bookkeeping she spends her time riding bikes and working on her new home. A California native, Sarah comes from a long line of bookkeepers, budgeters,  CPAs and CFOs.
